I'll be honest, like many I dropped off of GLB a few years ago and am interested in this new version. One of the cool things I remember about owning a team back in the day was upgrading a stadium and managing the teams finances. Is that still something that is available in this new version.

Also, what is there for players to spend money on? I see we get signed for a salary, is there gear to buy? Endorsement deals? Other than a re-skin, improved game AI and improvements to the character creation, what more is there?

Money is really only to limit teams on who they can and can't sign

We all play on grass lots, fields, streets, parking lots.

no equipment or stadiums in GLB2.

team owning/managing is more about gameplanning and running a particular system on O/D and the salary is used for roster crafting. the salary cap is a hard cap so it should help with team parity in the leagues.

As a player, not an owner, stadiums and finances was just something that owners who didn't know better could screw up with the team. There was no benefit, just a chance to make things more miserable. It really didn't add anything of value to the game and I'm glad it's gone.
