when the owner goes inactive the cpu overrides the depth set by other coaches. i hope this is a bug and not a feature. our team has come back from 1-8 to 8-8 and is now left dead in the water because the owner is officially designated as inactive.

Sadly, it's a feature due to the fact that once an owner goes inactive, it goes into a cpu-like state until the owner becomes active again sadly. Maybe perhaps they could make it to where the cpu doesn't take control unless both the owner and GM is inactive, if no GM, then it goes cpu-like.

exactly. no reason for it to go cpu when someone is actively coaching, hence: "bug"

I said maybe they can make it into that. the CPU is taking over the owners spot, which is higher than you which means it will make all the necessary changes it sees best, even if it may not be. They have to make it to where it wont touch anything if there is an active GM. It belongs in suggestions.

whatever.

if the owner goes inactive a "feature" ruins the game for everyone else. i think this is an oversight by the developer. probably easy to fix.
