Just whoever is top after the final ladder game. The elo continues to next season tho so the race for 1 never stops!

Yeah, I was thinking the final ladder game of the season should go #1 v #2, #3 v. #4, etc. I think that would bring a lot more excitement to the final match of the season, as you will be paired up with your closest competition.

or a championship of some sort could scheduled via scrims...

I really wish they'd tell us what the heck they're doing under the covers with the ratings. It's clearly NOT a straight elo as new teams are much lower ranked than older teams with losing records, which isn't how elo works. If they're just adding some points to your rating for every game as well, then in 10 seasons teams that are newly reaching plateau won't be able to get anywhere near teams that have stayed active since season 1.

Of course we have no idea how promotion will work or what leagues will look like at lvl 25 or how hard teams will be hit by having players with 0 chem as they start turning over rosters to keep at the endgame leagues or if that's even possible etc etc. All of that would be nice to get out in the open now so we could start working out the kinks/exploit holes before we get there.

So these proposed all-star games would be within the leagues or taking players from all leagues.
