I just made a player just to test some things out,

looked at it for about 5 minutes,

then went to retire,
my DTs Grey Goose Vod and Grey Goose3 are only offering me 40 FP back although I made them nearly 5 minutes ago.

Bolded word is the key. Flex return is based on experience, not time.

So because we are a few days into the season, I can't retire my players 5 mins after i create them?

And bort doesn't want you to be able to make a fully experienced dot to use on a team without paying up.

Well if you're going to retire him 5 minutes later, how are you going to use him for your team?

It's kinda dumb that you have to uncheck experienced to make a bunch of test builds (cost myself a couple hundred flex by forgetting this). But allowing a full flex refund on experienced players would open up a whole can of exploity worms.

Maybe bort could make it so a dot who is never signed to a team can get a full refund or something.

you literally just answered your own question.

- make player
- sign to team
- win a game
- retire.

repeat every day with QB and HBs. saves you tons of flex and costs bort money.

try again please.

It is worded clearly. However I think experienced should be defaulted to be unchecked. So you have to consciously activate it. Besides if you were wanting to use that function and you forgot to you could retire the player for free and then remake him. It doesn't work as friendly the other way around.

Agreed on that.

Except, by and large, most players aren't created with the intention of retiring them immediately afterwards. Most players are created with the intention of playing the game, and experienced players have a far greater capacity of playing the game than inexperienced players.

It's better to cater to the new and average user with quality of life features than it is the fringe of people who are doing weird things like making a bunch of players then immediately retiring them.

Offering a full creation cost refund before playing a game might have some merit, but I completely disagree with having it unchecked as default.

Well something should be done. Either the full refund before the first game or leaving the box unchecked by default
