Has anyone taken the time to put together a good build guide like there was for GLB1, this game is much more complex and will take some getting used to but I am still not sure what areas have greater affect over certain positions...

Nobody really knows what works and what doesn't yet, that's the fun in it.
As for build guides I don't think you'll see that here on GLB2 since there are no caps like glb1.

GLB2 is read and react! You don't need build guides.
Simply watch replays and decide what skills your players need more of to get better. That's the joy of GLB2, there's no sort of long term planning you need to do besides with your initial points and traits.

I've said this multiple times, Build guides are dumb. Just build how you want to, and have fun. This is a game and is meant for entertainment. If you build off of guides then there is no point in someone playing this game. Just enjoy it.

Probably because everyone's attributes are so low that the difference in any stat is so minimal that most players are generally the same... but that would make too much sense.
