Meh, minor detail.

Sort of related. Anyone know if power tackling or strip technique would be a better investment as far as forcing fumbles on sacks? My DT gets some sacks but I'd like to force some more fumbles upon getting the sack.

Is the consensus then that pursuit is useful for all pass rushers, whether they are DT's or DE's?

Intimidation. You'll get more fumbles after the QBs morale has been murdered.

Logically, and based on the description yes absolutely. However, I just pushed it up about 20 points recently on my DT and can't say I really see a difference. It's a small sample and not a huge bump, but it does make me question how important it really is.

I feel like pursuit just makes your guy take a smarter path toward the ball carrier, not that it actually helps with breaking blocks. I don't think it'll be overly useful with DTs atleast.

Thanks! I'll definitely try that out and report back.

I think this is true. My LB with higher pursuit seems to navigate thru traffic easier to get to the ball carrier but none of them can break blocks for shit.

I'd say not for Dline no.

LBs and secondary is a different story though.

Very balanced, not exactly a pass rusher though.

Has anyone noticed a big difference of in-game play when comparing different pass rush style techniques for player tactics with their DT? I've only tried combo and power, and I can't really see any differences between the two. Just wondering if anyone else saw any...
