Quick question, is Power Running supposed to be stupid expensive or have I done something wrong? I have Bruiser and Rusher that should be setting it at -13% cost and a max of 78 is showing available, but at just 25 it's already costing me 395 for an incremental point. Is this a bug? Did I screw up my initial settings somehow? Or is this skill just super-premium?

By comparison, I have about the same bonuses on carrying grip and it is only costing me 153 for an incremental unit to 38.

Any power/elusive/technique/deflect/intercept/sprinting/quickness skills are going to be more expensive than other skills. It seems that Bort took all the skill types that were pushed high in GLB1 and made them super-expensive in GLB2. This is the case regardless of your traits.

Its a very powerful attribute, so of course it will be expensive.

Sounds like you need to try some "Create / Retire" experiments to find out SP Maximums!

I've been testing some HB builds by creating them and playing pickup games. I get a lot of TFL's. Does this have anything to do with the build, or is the blocking in these sims just really poor?

Here are the two guys I've been testing:

Update: I've done a little more testing, the scatback is really poorly built.

you aren't gonna get much good data from pickup games.

Having no control over AI and no understanding of the builds you are playing with and against makes your resutlts pretty random.
