So I saw a thread that someone had the same problem as me but I have no idea how they resolved it.
When I started up my character, he had 2 contract offers. However, when I tried to accept them it would not let me and redirected me back to my player profile page.
Any way to sign to a team then?

Discount double check to make sure that the team's with the offers aren't full or full at that position.

The team's roster page should display X/43 and Y/Z for each position.

For instance, my team is full (43/43). I have 1/1 punters, so I cannot sign a second punter, even if I had room, unless I cut the punter.

That's the big question. I don't know how contract offers work in this game (auto-offers that is). You can get recruited to a team by posting in the marketplace or by going to the teams looking for players forum and PMing the owner or posting in the forum for an offer.

Don't forget to link your build and tell the owner what kind of traits you picked.

Yeah, sorry, there seems to be a bug making some contracts not work. I've tried recreating it multiple times on my devbox but I can't seem to create whichever exact situation is making some not work.

I'm trying to figure out what's causing it though
