I was trying to raise my cap on conditioning on the test server on a build where I went with 1 stamina as the attribute. I had a cap of 25 and using the booster would only get me to 26. I don't know if that is always the case, but don't count on being able to bring up a cap by a lot.

If you don't like how much the cap booster was increasing, just hit cancel instead of save and it won't spend the boost.

If I had to guess, I think it is the average of the attributes that define the skill that your cap booster increases the skill's cap by, but now that there are more people playing I guess we will be able to get a better idea.


wow really? I could have sworn it was always a +5 to my cap when i used them?

fwiw TT knows more than me about all process's prior to Vet league as I only worked with full blown Vet players.

True, and I direct all questions about end builds to Bhall because I only built about 5 vet level players.

I had a lot of test builds where I would put attributes (like confidence and stamina) at 1, I don't think you took any of your attributes that low.

I was trying to recreate the typical GLB1 player coming in to GLB2 saying "stamina and confidence aren't important, speed and strength kill".

Player creation right now should gives players 1000sp to spend.

With the option to catch-up when do they receive that 700 or some odd sp that they would have gotten today?

I believe so. You may not get the "make up" SP until rollover (or only on players built after rollover)

YUP....THANKS to TT and bhall for all the input these past few weeks....made my life a lot easier starting off in the right direction GLB2 with all the input I got from them....

Even things like conditioning and heart gave me a +5. I dunno. That is kinda weird.

Your initial cap of conditioning and heart were probably at or above 25 in reality. Since 25 is the MINIMUM cap it looks like, when you do the math your cap can actually be 'technically' below it. Maybe going below even 25 is when you see a lesser of a reward on a cap-boost. Just a theory.
