Was charged 600 FP to boost a free player. Is that some sort of mistake?

You purchased the 4 career boosts for your free player which cost 150 FP's per boost. Bort's got to make a little money... just sayin.

Then what's the point of the "free" designation?

I'm guessing that they're free up to the point that their normal career would last.... evidently they are going to charge you for the extra games. It even lets you know when you click on those boost that they're going to cost 150 FP's and you still have to hit OK.... so it does warn you.

If you don't use the Career Boosts then you can just retire and rebuild....I don't see why people are getting their panties in a twist over this.

but he used career boosts, cause he was under the assumption that a free player got free boosts.

I was here for Alpha testing, so everything that said cost flex actually did not in order to let users test everything and whatnot. I figured that the price of flex was something that was accidentally left in (being it's a "free" player) and that it actually would not charge it.

Free players are free as far as always being able to compete on a level playing field as paid players throughout their career.
