Marcel Reece would disagree .... but that is the exception.

Reece are getting most of his offensive stats when the other running backs are in the hospital and he plays half back.

What bhall said.

We were using specific formations for run plays, and other formations for pass plays. That way you could have run-based offenses in (including o-line) but the very next play have a pass-based offense in.

It was too exploity.

But in GLB we talk about full backs that can't block at all and are pure receivers. That has never existed in football.

well it won't exist in GLB2. Unless you plan on never running with a FB leading... or holding the FB in on any passing play.

Additionally, combo TE's/FB's etc are seemingly possible and probably relevant.

anyone else having PT issues at DE or possible another position.... not in the sense of not getting plays..but snaps on defense. The owner has been trying to figure it out, but for some reason my DE get 5-9 snaps on defense and like 25 on ST's(combo of both Punt teams, and some kicks). The other 3 DE's regularly get 2/3 of their snaps on defense. He's mostly been playing as the "starter" but we've since tried a backup role. I don't know how the depth charts work since i can't see them but would think the other DE's are also listed in ST. Could it be a build trigger... that my guy perhaps has a little more speed and is being picked by the sim to play more often on ST's than maybe lacks energy to come back into the game, only to be thrown into ST's again to keep the cycle going? most of his D snaps occur in the first half and trail in the 3rd. This last game he played a D snap to start the 3rd, and only saw time on ST the rest of the game.

It'd be nice to pick defense by offense formation, not just # of wrs. I don't think handling pro set and weak i differently is going to unbalance the game. Of course, I wasn't on the test server.
