This ranking is loosely based on fact and largely based on opinion. Thanks for reading. Please post and comment!
1. Whodey's Experiment (1) - WE is a great team, but he can't deny lady luck was on his side today. Not only does the guy lost time of possession by 9 minutes, but he was out gained by nearly 50 yards and punted 3 times. I don't know how WE keeps winning these close games, but you can't keep playing these needle thread close games without slipping up once. Hopefully that slip doesn't happen in the post-season.
2. Fighting Gamecocks (2) - The Ohio St PWs were not prepared to face the monster that is the Gamecocks. jkid has it rolling on defense allowing an average of only 5.6 points per game.
3. Brethern Krewe Redbeards (3) - Week 5 was a break after the big showdown against LE. Week 6 starts it back up quickly though against a tough Royal squad. I expect a showdown and a potential game of the week match-up with these two.
4. Chicago 85' Bears (5) - The Bears faced down a surprisingly stout Ultimate squad and barely crawled out with the win. I will admit that I was impressed with the Underdogz defense. I figured the Bears would hold down their offense, but I hadn't expected Gerr's offense to struggle. If you have not watched this game yet, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
5. TazVikes Nordica (4) - I couldn't move Tazmann's group down after that performance. The TazVikes played just as good but couldn't come out with the win. Week 7 brings an opportunity for redemption against AI's Falcons. This is definitely a top squad in PWG.
6. Short Bus Window Lickers (6) - Now I'm pretty excited to see LE's group play the Underdogz in week 8... LE always puts out a good game and I expect the same going forward. No worries here, this is a top team in the West.
7. Birds Of Prey (7) - He has beaten every opponent the schedule has brought his way, but so far that is only one team with a record of .500 or better. Now if Birdman's group can beat WE in week 7, I'll stop questioning whether or not this is really a team deserving of the 7th spot.
8. Royal Cocks (9) - I always expect a big offensive day from Royal but I did not expect they would shut out anybody, much less GTS. Royal has a big opportunity in week 6 to show they belong at the top and are worthy of a higher ranking.
9. Ultimate Underdogz (10) - Sign me up for the "most impressed" list. It is a rarity that I'd move a team UP after a loss, but this squad showed flashes that I hadn't expected. As I said earlier, I figured their offense would be stifled but I was very surprised that they would hold Gerr's offense to only 2 TDs. This team's road is more difficult the next few games so we will definitely get to see more.
10. All Pro Falcons (NR) - The Falcons are, in my opinion, definitely better than their ranking of the 10th, but the season is far from over and I expect that AI's Falcons will continue their path up the rankings.
