One note for those new to my rankings. Now through the rest of the season, you will see the last ranking after the team name. Ex. (1). If the team was not ranked, you will see (NR).
This ranking is loosely based on fact and largely based on opinion. Thanks for reading. Please post and comment!
1. Whodey's Experiment (1) - Week 3 brings an exciting game against AI's Falcons. I don't think we can judge too much from some of these early season games, but this match-up should give us a glimpse of what both teams have to present to PWG this year.
2. Fighting Gamecocks (4) - jkid's squad rolled out the red carpet for Minnesota in week 2 and had a field day. FGC has ran through the first two games so far, but the next 3 games present potential challenges. FGC faces an early season challenge with 4 to 5 playoff teams in the first half of the schedule.
3. Brethern Krewe Redbeards (3) - It is a nice start for the Redbeards with two victories over S37 PWG playoff teams, but the challenges keep coming with SBWL coming to town in week 4 as well as Royal in week 6. The Redbeards will have to show massive improvement from last year to stay in the top 5 for very long.
4. Short Bus Window Lickers (5) - Anybody else want an explanation as to how the unknown Steel City Bumblebees get shut out for 3 quarters and put up 4 TDs in the 4th quarter? Cuz I'm a little confused.... Either way, LE's team looks to be starting slowly but as we saw last year, that doesn't really mean much.
5.TazVikes Nordica (6) - I told you last week that his team would be okay if his offense would only show up.... He has shut out the first two teams, but has managed to only score an average of 66.5 points per game.
6. Chicago 85' Bears (7) - Gerr starts with one of the easier looking schedules in the first half of the season, but don't let that fool you. This team is legit and will compete for the top seed in the West.
7. All Pro Falcons (8) - Should we PM AI and remind him that his offense can start now?... Nah....
8. Gold Test Squad (9) - If you are going to get 338 yards of offense, you should at least score 17 points right? How are you going to give up less than 200 yards and pile up 338 and only win by 14? Come on MAN!
9.Birds Of Prey (10) - Well, he hasn't played anybody good yet, but Birdman has rolled so far. Week 3 is a big match-up vs two of the top no-boost/limited boost teams in PWG with Birdman's randomly named squad vs RR. Should be an exciting watch.
10. Miami Golden Gators (NR) - Did Miami need only one season to go from basement to solid? Time will definitely tell, but so far the Gators have one nice win under their belt against the Legends. Week 3 affords the Gators the chance to pull off a big upset against Gerr's Bears.
