Basically, here are the chances I think of each team winning their conference. I should note that I would pick any of the top 4 east teams against any of the west teams in a potential championship game.
Favorites:
West:
Chicago- 30%- basically, I think they are the class of the west, and are clearly the favorite. No other team has been as good this season.
SBWL- 25%- I find that SBWL has been underestimated this season. They have looked great lately and are playoff tested.
Hired Guns- 20%- Nobody has been talking about them, but I like their chances and they're always dangerous. Also, watch their last few games, they have been exceptionally strong.
Contenders:
Gold Test Squad- 12%- Now they are not as good as FG, but they can certainly compete in the west. They do have a tough 1st round matchup though.
Royal Cocks- 5%- They are partially unboosted, but I think they can compete in gold, I actually don't hate their chances, especially against GTS.
Brethern Krewe Redbeards- 5%- They are actually a very good team, I just have a weird feeling that Hired Guns will beat them, not sure why.
The Rest:
Crib Midgets- 2%- I don't like their chances at all to be honest, especially not against SBWL the second time.
Oklahoma Legends- 1%- I don't think they have a chance at beating Chicago.
East:
Favorites:
Whodey's Experiment- 60%- I think this is the easy pick and probably the correct one. Actually, I think that their main worry should be TazVikes as TazVikes match up far better against Whodey than All Pro and certainly FG. They have not lost any games this season and are the obvious favorite to win gold.
Contenders:
TazVikes Nordica- 20%- Now, they have the toughest first round game out of the top 4 seeds and they would play Whodey's Experiment in the second round if they win. However, we are solely predicting the chance they win the conference. I think they have a far better chance of beating Whodey's Experiment for reasons that I don't want to elaborate on too much here, but they simply match up better, especially TazVikes' offense versus any other offense in the east.
All Pro Falcons- 8%- I think they are actually the 2nd best team in the east right now and have a great chance of playing Whodey in the conference final if it comes down to that. They are the defending champs, but Whodey is strong this season.
Fighting Gamecocks- 7%- Look, I know this seems kinda low, but I do have some inside information here. I doubt FG will put together anything to beat Whodey or even All Pro; however, I do think FG would have the edge against any of the west teams. Miracles have happened before, but I don't see it being likely, especially with FG's offense right now.
The Rest:
Minnesota Vikingz- 3%- This team is super unlucky. If they had come around 3-4 seasons ago, it would have been between them and FG for the title. However, the rise of TazVikes, All Pro, and Whodey, has made a great team only a 3% chance of winning the east. However, if they upset TazVikes, Whodey should take note of them, they can beat him.
Subversive Education- 1%- I can't believe that they will beat All Pro. Subversive has looked slightly worse than last season and actually I think All Pro is even better, just against stronger competition.
Requiem Revolver- .8%- They play FG, it's possible they could win and I think that FG is the most vulnerable of the top 3 seeds actually, but they would not beat any of the other top 4 in any game, so their chances are very slim.
Pink Patio Flowers- .2%- If you guys beat Whodey, it will probably be the biggest upset in PWG history. Good luck though.
