This ranking is loosely based on fact and largely based on opinion. Thanks for reading. Please post and comment!
1. Fighting Gamecocks (1) - So far they have allowed only 21 points this season and have scored 239 points. Not bad.... jkid2 looks to be on top of his game so far.
2. Whodey's Experiment (2) - Those were not the results I was expecting, but WE still came out with the victory against a S36 playoff team. WE now has two winnable games before facing Subversive and All Pro back-to-back.
3. Short Bus Window Lickers (3) - No problem in week 4 vs Osiris's one man squad. SBWL has a few good games lined up against the Midgets, Oklahoma, Royal, Cincinnati, GTS, Hired Guns and East-West. We will know a lot more about this group over the next few games.
4. TazVikes Nordica (4) - Apparently their offense is ready to go for S37. They will be 6-0 going into a great game in week 7 vs FGC. That will be the game to watch for in the first half of the year.
5. All Pro Falcons (5) - They looked strong in week 4 with a 52 point victory over the Stone Mountain Militia. They have a nice little run coming up against RR, Pink Patio, Minnesota and WE. We will know a lot more about All Pro once that stretch is completed.
6. Chicago 85' Bears (7) - Gerr maybe made it a little closer than necessary, but the fully boosted Oklahoma Legends can be a difficult match-up. Gerr has played a lot of close games so far, but I think this team will only get better as the builds round out.
7. Royal Cocks (8) - This feels like a repeat of last year to me. Royal gets a comfortable schedule to start before facing the gauntlet. Expect them to be 6-0 going into the big game vs SBWL.
8. Brethern Krewe Redbeards (10) - Very impressive performance in week 4 accumulating 500 yards and defeating the defending Western Conference Champs by 26 points. After facing FGC, Oklahoma, Chaos and Hired Guns in the first four weeks, the road lightens up a bit until the second half of the season.
9. Minnesota Vikings (9) - They lost in week 4, but performed greater than expectations against a top ranked team in WE. I expected Minnesota to take a big step back this season without LE running the defense, but so far they are looking strong. I'm still concerned that as builds round out Minnesota may dip a bit.
10. Hired Guns (6) - I admit that I had to consider ranking the 2-2 Guns over other teams like the 4-0 Crib Midgets and 3 teams with a 3-1 record, but ultimately I still think this is a worthy team with a tough early season schedule. The Guns took it on the chin this week but they don't have much time to ponder the loss before week 6 rolls around and they stand to face Gerr's Bears.
