First let's look at conferences. Which conference is the toughest? My bet would be on the West. Clearly we have some solid ball clubs in that conference. Both conferences hold 4-4 teams at the 8th playoff spot at the moment. However when it comes down to it, the West has quite a few teams that could end up representing the West. Pretty much the current top 6 teams. In the East its a two team battle. The two boosted clubs in FGC and TazVikes. FGC already handled Tazvikes by 10 a couple of weeks back so these two teams pretty much have the playoffs decided. FGC gets the #1 seed and Tazvikes locks in at #2. Tazvikes already destroyed the unboosted RR team so it's pretty clear cut.

Fighting gamecocks lock in at #1. Should go undefeated and already have their toughest game out of the way. Currently have the #1 defense in yards and points allowed.
At #2 is the Chicago Bears. Been a while since they have been ranked this high bit as defense wins championships, which they currently have the #2 defense they lock in at #2 but do have some tough games down the road.
#3 is Tazvikes who have the #1 offense but couldn't score more than 13 against FGC. They will have to find more offense in the playoffs to get over the hump.
#4 SBWL. Big game vs the #5 Kids team today but holds the 4th ranked defense but 3rd in scoring even though having a 10th ranked offense in yards.
#5 Kids - 3rd ranked defense and a tough game coming up today vs #4 SBWL, the team that wins will switch spots.
#6 Requim Revolvers are 3rd on offense but 19th moving the ball which showed vs Tazvikes
#7 Pee Wee Punishers, Top 5 in scoring and holding teams to scoring
#8 Nola, Better on defense holding teams to scoring at 7th ranked however offense is 17th
#9 GTS, Offense is struggling at 21 but defense is winning them games at 5th
#10 Royal Cocks, Better at offense than defense. Will need to tighten the ropes and keep teams from scoring to be a real threat
#11 All Pro, Top 10 defense and struggles somewhat on offense
#12 Subversive- Defense is 7th but struggles on offense
#13 Chiefs Buffalo, Struggles with teh 20th ranked offense and defense is playing better than avg
#14 Pain Nation, Great on offense but struggling big timeon the defensive side
#15 Coastal Empire Pirates, #2 on offense but defense is atrocious.
#16 Dithc Fis, twice as good on offense, need defensive help
#17 White Lake, great on offense terribad on defense at 23
#18 Miami, Great on offense but defensive struggles
#19 Crib, struggling on both ends of the ball
#20 Cincinnati Chaos, Great on defense, bad on offense

agreed, it helps when you have a 3lvl superiority as well as the upgraded gears advantage ...doesn't hurt to have a DC that is testing his DAI in the west(or is he testing his DAI in the east?!?) also!

This is actually the defense I was referring to in off season in a post with whodey so I'm interested to see how well his offense plays against a morale damaging defense like subversive. a lot of people don't agree but there is actually a specific QB build you almost have to use to be successful against them or your QB will throw the ball with your WR a yard or two off the LOS every play.

Did you ever think that maybe it has more to do with someone trying something different that just happens to work against the cookie cutter builds and AI's everyone is using? Maybe, just maybe, someone has come up with a new wrinkle that teams have to adapt to?

Take the "Wildcat" that Miami put in place a few seasons ago. It worked because people weren't prepared for it. In time, teams adjusted and figured out how to stop it.

But, I suppose it should be "nerfed", so that the same old offenses and defenses from 10 seasons ago dominate for the next 10, right? I mean who would want to play a strategy game that makes you think, plan, and adapt?

lol that's all well and good until everyone starts doing the same thing ...you wanna talk about cookie cutter builds, well that is exactly what this could very well become if what A.I. says is true ...I'm just commenting on what A.I. said by his own words, don't get your knickers in a knot! ...I'm all for the innovative strategists of this game but the wildcat case does not substantiate an argument, get a clue before you start going on some bullshit crusade at my expense!
