Interview with touchdown touchdown, Star HB of the East Side Chargers

touchdown touchdown, (TT)

LG: your team is struggling again this season. What do you want to do to turn it around?
TT: I would like to run the ball more and develop the offensive line.

LG: You have much worse stats than last season and you dropped 14 passes already. What is your plan to improve?
TT: You are right about all the dropped passes; however, I didn't develop my back to to a primary receiving target. Don't get me wrong as I do enjoy the extra touched but whe you have more receptions than rushes as a back the defence in going to focus on short passes. Last game I thing I had the most receptions on the team. I am more concerned about my rushing average being cut in half. I will work on my strenght and power back tree I guess and try to run up the middle to try and set up some passes if the OC wants to that is. Still it's all a game ; )

LG: Your contract expires middle of next season. Do you plan to stay at the chargers? Have you been in contact with other teams?
TT: All teams have growing pains and I hope to stay with the team through them. If the team does not show motivation to make any changes I will leave my window open. Teams are always looking for players no matter, whether its to fill a need or as a backup role.

LG: Thank you for the interview.

Interview with the owner of the Bosnia Refugees!

invisiblerc (INV),

we heard rumors that your team is considered to be a sleeping Giant.

LG: Why do you think your team is a sleeping Giant?
INV: Well we were the laughing stock of the league the last 2 seasons, and as the new owner I'm tired of hearing all the giggles going on behind our back. This is going to set us up nicely for a big off season where we'll be competing again next season. Stay tuned!

LG: What is your plan to be a force to recon next season?
INV: My plan for next season is to get my D some help, D wins championships right? So bulk up our D and bring in some new Weapons on O and we'll be looking toward a bright future.

LG: Are there any Stars signing with the Refugees next season?
INV: We will be bringing in some big players in this upcoming off season, a shut down corner or two. Also we'll be brining in a Big time WR and DE to help boost our production.

LG: Your next game is a grudge match derby against the Balkan Arnachy. Cabal Vision expects your team to be slaughtered by the Arnachy. What is your plan to stop the Arnachy
Link the the match http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1991&team2=1061
INV: Well I don't wanna give to much away with the game plan, It's going to be a big uphill battle with the difference in talent we have on each side of the ball. We'll try to control the ball and keep there Offense off the field.

LG: Do you think the next team expansion will be Eastern Europe A Legues?
INV: I think it's a possibility that Eastern Europe A is the next expansion league.

LG: We wish you good luck for the rest of the season.

LG: Thank you for the interview

Interview with the owner of the Chattanooga Lookouts

prthdinhoc (PR),

Cabalvision would like to ask you the following questions.

The play offs are coming.

LG: Are you prepared and what is your plan to win the league Championship?

PR: We are as prepared as we can be right now. We improve each and every game, but so does everyone else, so we just have to keep scouting and planning to make sure we optimize the talent our team does have. As far as the league championship, we obviously have to get there first, but I do like our odds up to the Alpha championship and we'll have some things in the works for whichever Zeta team we happen to play if and when we meet up at the end of the season.

LG: Who would you perfer to play against in the League Final?

PR: I think we would definately prefer to play the Hellhounds in the final game if both teams can get there. It's no secret that there has been some bad blood between Cruzi and I, but the real reason is that I do believe the Hellhounds are the highest rated team in the league and if you're gonna be the best, you gotta beat the best. I think everyone wants to see a good matchup in the championship and the Lookouts would probably match up with the Hellhounds better than any other team from Alpha.

LG: Do you think there could be a surprise team in Zeta that will upset the Big 2?

PR: I really don't think so. Obviously, strange things can happen, and another team I GM actually made it to the conference championship as an 8 seed last season, but usually, in GLB, the highest rated teams will be the last ones standing.

LG: Cabalvision is of the opinion that both Zeta conference teams are stronger than the Lookouts, what do you think of this?

PR: Depends on your definition of stronger. Like I said, I do believe the Hellhounds are the highest rated team, but I don't think either one would blow us out by any means. One thing a lot of people don't know about the Lookouts is that I bought this team late last season when it was 0-9 in AAA and we ended up 3-13. So, there is some evidence that my GM's and I know a little bit about what we're doing. Granted, there are a few more cupcakes in Alpha, but I do think the Lookouts are better than a lot of people think. Both Zeta teams would be tough games for us, but I think we have a better chance than we're being given credit for.

One advantage we do have is that they will most likely have to play each other twice to get to the championship, and that will give us some more insight into what they really do. The Lookouts might be able to hold a few things back.

LG: As promotion is close, do you think you are prepared for the Eastern Europe AAA #1 league?

PR:You know, I think everybody loves to go 10-0 or have easy runs to the playoffs, but that would get boring fast IMO. I was there for a short time last year, and I GM a team in a very tough USA league, and better talent makes for a more exciting GLB experience. I think the Lookouts would do pretty well in AAA, but I'm sure we wouldn't run through the league like we have so far this season.

LG: What do you have to do to be competitive in League 2?

PR:I presume this refers to AA, but in either league, recruiting and retention is definately the key to success. Gameplanning and scouting play a huge role, but you've got to be successful in finding good active agents who hopefully boost their players and are willing to stick with the team. Chemistry plays a bigger role in GLB than a lot of people think, so reducing in-season roster moves is a must.

LG: Who is the team in our conference that has surprised/ disappointed you the most this season so far?

PR: Since we were not here last season, I didn't really know what to expect, but two Alpha teams that suprised me were the Danzig Devils who lost their only game so far to the Lookouts in Game 1, and House Atriedes. Both of these teams could make the playoffs a little tough for us, but I like our odds.

LG: There are a lot of voices that the Zeta conference is stronger than the Alpha. Do you agree?

PR: Ahh, the old SEC/Big 10/Big 12/Pac 10 argument. I don't really look too much at conference vs. conference because Zeta really isn't much of a concern to us until the playoffs, but to answer the question. There are probably a few stronger teams in Zeta than Alpha. There are, however, some teams in Alpha who have the talent, but are not being run very well. The two gutted teams in Alpha didn't help matters either, but they're under new ownership and hopefully will recover for next season.

Thank you for the interview
