Lol that would be fun to see.

I honestly thought this might be a bug, but this was the first time I've watched replays in 10+ seasons

One got submitted as a bug. The ball lay on the field about 15 yards away from a pile of dots that looked like jello in an earthquake. This lasted for, like, 5 minutes until the sim lost it's mind and said somebody (most likely a cheerleader) fell on the ball for no return. Never did see a dot actually cover the ball. It was a good LOL festival.
