Christ, I don't know how many of you approach the game, but I don't give two shits about the league leaders chart aside from where my players are on it. When I scout a team, I go, "Holy shit, we gotta watch out for this guy!" Or, when I watch my dots run, I go, "Damnit, why is no one defending this fast-ass TE," or, "Damnit, why is THAT CB defending my WR." THAT is what makes a player pro-bowl worthy.
Everyone here knows stats will be inflated. Everyone in Alpha will have played everyone in Alpha, and same for Zeta. There is a vote for each position, a selection of the best players at each position, chosen by a representative from each team. I will be voting for LBT, and I don't watch every game, and don't give a crap about the league stats. If 5 players are nominated for best Halfback, I will go watch a few games/plays for each player, and make a determination. Then, 15 or so other people will do the same, and if, say 7 of those people say the same guy deserves the reward, he gets it. We have shut out teams that have outstanding players in certain positions, and I don't care who they play in game 16, or game 9, or game 3. If they're a good player, we all know it, anyone who competes against them knows it. Is Trent McSteele a good receiver? Or is his QB good enough that Trent just gets lucky? If you've played them, you have an opinion on that, and this is the chance to offer up that opinion. (BTW, I hate you, Trent McSteel, and your little quarterback, too!

Doesn't matter when in the season the Vampires were played, or how much of an "asshole" Tully was on the forums. If you don't like it, don't vote, don't read the thread, and don't give a shit. That's not to Taylor, that's to anyone who could care less about a Pro-Bowl vote, or anyone who thinks it's not fair. Just don't read it or participate. Christ (I do -NOT- mean Jesus Christ, Son of God, who better not be on any ballot anywhere), you have to take effort to type -- if you don't like it, why are you typing?
Why has people trying to make their hobby fun become a stick in the craw of anyone? I happen to be able to type about as fast as I can think, so I go long on posts... But if you're arguing about a Pro-Bowl vote that has NO actual in-game affect, no trophy, no nothing if you don't read the damn thread, you're wasting your time.
