Hmmm... OK. Well my defense performed pretty much how I'd hoped and even my offense was better than I expected. I don't see any reason to not be happy with a 17-7 loss against a Yes/Yes team run by a couple of the better PeeWee coordinators.
As an aside, do you really think that my defense is an exploit (and not just using that to mean "trick"). What does it exploit? My problem was that when facing a Yes/Yes team I was getting burned on outside runs. I preferred to defend that by those outside blitzes. You used to be able to do that with LBs but when they locked LB blitz locations I needed to use my safeties for that. So basically I'm just using my safeties the way I would use LBs and use extra CBs in place of safeties.

Your defense is an exploit and now others are following suit. I have it figured out. I even ran some of it on SBWL to try and figure out why it fires like that and play with tactics to counter. You blitz on 1st and 2nd down. From most of the formations. Most teams are pass first with the exception of LGM. QB spots blitz and passes to the Hbs or Fbs behind the LOS. However I found a tactic that won't allow it to do that. However it still makes the offense throw to only the first target.
To aid in what your doing, your beefing up your LBs which are all runs stop Lbs. You only have a few because you blitz most of the time. So if there is a run more than likely they make the stop. You have strength based CBs so they can "push" back speedy Wrs. Also with the first target being thrown to you don't need much speed so you can spend more on strength. You rely on your blitzing exploit defense and your special teams to win you games. You get lucky on offense from the poor moral when teams can't drive.
Reason why the Goalline works is it forces you to play Lbs. Your LBs don't have the speed nor agility to catch the QB on a pitch. Even on the goalline plays the QBs were reading blitz. You too busy exploiting with those two Lbs on the outside that your lone CB was eventually going to get burned.
It was close to prove a point to Jkid. That defense will not stop outside runs. I proved that with the 42 point shlacking when I ran circles around it. However he said the pass would of beat that defense which I knew it wouldn't. In the end the run did. Lucky for me his defense is damn good so I have the luxioury of running that scheme.

ok, you put more thought into my defense than i did.
my one "trick" is that i've been beefing up pummel on my offensive line. i didn't know if it was doing anything, but i guess it was pushing down morale after all. too bad that wasn't really translating into longer inside runs for me.

GG to Submersive Education and Gerr (AZ) as well. Sorry for the razzing but I had to do something to get my focus in this game. After a while it becomes repetitive and just going through the motions.

GG guys.
I knew after the last EQ upgrades our passing game would suck. We gave up three quick scores and that triggered us to pass more on first down. The more we passed the further behind we got and the more we passed. Just bad ball.
