Your mission, should you decide to accept it, Is to DC a team that will have an open DC spot for the upcoming season and beyond. Our current DC has had some issues that have arisen that are not allowing him to keep the position. He has been long standing in the position and basically ran the team since it's inception many seasons ago. The time has come however to move on. We need someone that can take us to the next level.
I'll admit our first season in the Pro's was not easy going. Mid-season last year we switched OC's and now have a proven, committed OC who will be here for seasons to come. Now, in the offseason, we are looking to add a new DC as well to take this team to heights it hasn't seen before.
Through your abilities, and your fine talents in the designing a smothering defense, I'm a true believer that we could be and will be ready to take this team to new heights, both offensively and defensively.
True, we are doing some revamping and retooling of this team to make us a better and much more competitive team. We also realize we have a short time to get the job done.
However, we have already filled every single position minus one.
I've been in GLB since Season 1, I've owned this Barcelona team since its inception many seasons ago, but this is my 26th season as an owner overall.
We have a lot of fire power this season and want as be as multi-dimensional as possible, our OC absolutely loves driving DC's nut's!! Now we need a DC who can drive the opposing OC nuts!
We also have very few Level 79's that will be leaving after this coming season, as they will be retiring. But they wanted to stay to try to help us move forward during our revamping. At this moment, we have already signed 15 new players, all improvements on last seasons roster!!
