The Panthers have been rattled by a few teams this season already - so an upset was always on the cards at some point, but once they squoze past Madrid, Grass Roots and Manchester Fire (the other "best" teams last year) it looked like it was going to be the play-offs before someone knocked them off their perch again.
With no disrespect intended, the Panthers are not the force they were last year. And considering we got thumped by them last season, it is good to get them back this season. Onwards!

just keep in mind that, by the pure nature of how this game has been written, weaker teams will catch up better teams a lot quicker as seasons do go on. The same thing is happening in Alpha as well. Saying that, good recruitment does have a lot to do with it as well

Well, I don't know if I'd go that far. The Panthers are still, in my book, the best team in the league.
I remember the only reason we beat the Danes was because of a ginormous reception from Asha Greyjoy that set up the game winning FG, as I recall that game was a *little* bit of a steal by Zeta
[By the way it's not all it's cracked up to be in AAA.... way too many awesome teams]
