I didnt know where else to put this...but my P ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2346828 )currently leads South America Pro in Punting Yard Average ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/stats.pl?season=29&league_id=15&conference_id=0&stat=kicking&sort=punt_yards/punts&playoffs=0&stat_type=raw ). My P also gets a punt within the 20 yard line 1 out of every 2 kicks. A P that is ranked for 4th in the MVP in the same conference gets a P within the 20 1 out of every 4 punts and has 7 yards less per punt. Its this guy: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2422301 .

Is this an issue with the MVP coding? I dont get how a P that has better STATS on a per capita basis isnt even close to the runnings for anything in terms of K/P MVP.

Here are current Punters in the MVP runnings for the guys in his same conference:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2422301
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2253614
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2160915

They all have less stats, except for number of times punted, which are generally 30 or way more punts. Maybe this isnt a bug...but it definitely doesnt seem to gauge who the best punter is in any way shape or form and should probably be at the very least re-evaluated.

If I had to guess MVP calculations based on yards are based on total yards, not averages. Your guy doesn't stand a chance because he's not punting as often.

Pretty much this. A punter that isn't used often can't really be a MVP can he?

As for the overall formula, it must be taken up as a suggestion and even than unless Bort would still need to change his mind that all of them are working as he likes currently (which has been the case for seasons now with numerous bug threads with potential issues/recommendations for change that have been shot down).

I would agree...but the better punter is clearly not on the list. It should be like a 100 punt minimum (arbitrary number used), then factor in yds/punt and how often the punter gets within 10, 20, and a CC, and then factor touchbacks against the punter. Its not rocket science...is it?

from my experiences, total punt yards is the #1 criteria. hobo is 5th in total adjusted yards. boer hates punters, just check the hof for punters to see how messed up punter stats are.

That is what it seems like anyways. I will make a suggestion thread.

Yup, this will need to be a suggestion, unless its very clear something is broken Bugs Mods dont deal with MVP and/or script issues.

If a table isn't formatted, we can help, if the criteria is completely unfathomably, cant help
