I was with lincoln and esl. But I didn't find it very appealing when we were in the same conference. Just seems lame to face yourself over and over. You want competition...you don't want to be your own competition.

totally agree. I've never felt great about it either.

I think I only had that happen one time in the WL, but I kind of enjoyed watching how the respective OCs did against my defense.

situation sucks and i hate it .. but i also want to be in WL every season so i have to stay involved in a couple teams to hedge my bets.

Pro is horrendous and i'd probably be walking away if that's all i had for almost 2 months of dotball.

Having a back and forth 2 or 3 coordinators every other day or having 4-5 off days with one of those coordinators mixed in. I'll take pro for the competition of different people...even tho it might be much much weaker. Maybe we need to contract the WL.

yeah i guess Pro is at the point now that a contraction at that level is really just pitting the network b,c,d,e teams against each other.

its not entirely bort's fault that coordinating talent is so piss poor. there is a distinct lack of common sense, at least on the D side, that undermines most. though i can't ignore the knowledge collected by us S1 guys; the actual job of coordinating isn't terribly complicated to me. i mean - you can make it that way. but it's hard to quantify that type of complexity in my experience.

The lack of learning/teaching tools is a bit of an impediment...if I signed up today I'm not sure I'd even know where to start.

But yeah, it's not exactly rocket science and common sense goes a loooong way.

This. You get to the point where you can make it really easy on yourself. But for the beginners its quite an uphill battle to tke on.

It can be a challenge as i have had 2 WL teams minimum for about 10 of the 17 seasons of WL. I take on coordinating jobs to help teams get to WL and i feel it wouldn't be right for me to bail on them when they need me most at the highest level
