Tactics calendar showing which OAI was active- http://i39.tinypic.com/aca5w7.jpg
AI tester- http://i39.tinypic.com/14l3qxh.jpg

I've seen phantom calls before, but wanted to bring this up b/c that play was in that input earlier in the ssn, but I deleted it yesterday. makes me wonder if there's a caching issue.

Do you have an OAI in your personal AI's with the same name as the one you have on the team? Check to make sure you didn't put the wrong OAI into the calendar. There has been confusion in the past where someone has the same name AI in both their personal tactics and the team tactics and grab the wrong one.

that's a possibility, as there is a shell OAI w/ an identical name in my personal AIs. and for that matter, that TE Sail play is in that OAI. problem is, none of my other packages are linked to that one and we ran plays from those packages time and time again in the same game linked in the OP.

Try renaming one of the AI's and see if it changes in the calendar (not certain if old AI's change names but worth a shot)

At least this way you can know, if it changes, which one for sure it was that was being used. If it doesn't change the first time, rename the other one and see if it changes.

It may not have been running your packages, it was likely grabbing plays based on your basic tactics. Scout the game and see if the plays that were called seem to be varied compared to what you normally would have called. Ie if you like to call a lot of HB slams, and instead you have 15 different run plays and all called 2-3 times instead of 4 plays called 10 times each or something.

Always best to make sure you change the AI names so to cut down on accidentally putting a duplicate AI in by mistake. Maybe change your personal AI's to Lardaddy (mine) S28 AI. or something like that, and when you move it, change mine to the team name.

go scroll thru the game. no rushes by the pass QB, no throws to the blocking FB/TE, inside runs had the blocking FB leading, etc.

I'm telling you, it was running from my packages. really, really weird.

You can send me AI access if you want, I'll see whats happened with the play calling, but there is a likely reason.

Are your packages named the same as team/gm packages?

RESOLVED.

In summary, the Initial Bug was due to a mistake, where a Personal AI was used instead of a Team AI.

The answer to the question of why the Packages still worked, is that this OAI was Copied from TEAM to MY locations, and had previously linked to TEAM OWNED Packages.

Once Copied to the MY Location, the Red (!) flags are correctly in effect as there are Access Restrictions on packages within the AI.

However, as the AI links to Team Owned Packages, when this OAI is used from the My/GM Location, it will still fire correctly, but only for the original Team, as they have access to those packages.

If used by any other team, the Packages will not fire due to Access Restrictions.

While this is slightly mis-leading, the Red (!) Flags are working as intended and warning of a potential issue.
