From what I have read from some posters (mods included), is that the replays are not to be used for accurate viewing and are not reliable. They claim the replays are simply visual aids. Have seen this mentioned a number of times.

This is currently working as intended. I agree that it looks wonky, but remember that the graphics are a visual aid, we are told to trust the play by play text.

Blocking an extra point is very difficult to do, as alindyl mentioned. Lots of things come in to play, to deflect a pass .. kick .. err

Yea but the gain is for 8.5 yards and I need 8.5 yards to get a first. So actually the gain was 8 yards 15 inches...not 16 inches..

Think about it this way. If you needed 1 yard for a first down, you run a play, they bring out the chains and it shows you are 2 chain links short. What amount of yardage will the ball carrier get credit for? 1 yard and yet the first down was not picked up.

It's all in the rounding.

Yeah I expected to see a replay where he was like 10 yards past it...but this happens all the time, just like in NFL the yellow line isn't official, in GLB the replays aren't official

wait til this happens on the GL. you'll really want to pull your hair out then.

i was about to say the same thing.

you do also realize that the ball is almost the same size as your dot...
