I understand he may be reacting to going out for coverage but he should see the play developing in front of him and do a better job at stopping this play.

As bad as this looks, its not a consistent behaviour, as Fish showed.

Also there is some testing on HB/FB coverage and Screens currently underway that will likely address this issue happening too often.

Since we have your CB's doing what you want (at least in the play I linked) and not doing what you want (in the plays you linked) it is going to be difficult to find a bug here. If I was your DC I'd be looking at why the CB misbehaves.

I'm with Mike on this one - not likely a bug.
