I feel for ya though. My son took over an Oceania Pro League team that was gutted in the off-season. It's hard as hell playing in a Pro League and having to re-build from scratch.



One of the guys on my teams, took over the Utopian Legend.

I don't know if any of you were following that little mellow drama last season, but it was a USA Pro team that apparently discovered/exposed some cheating by Tim Harper...and all hell broke lose in the Pro League. When nothing was done to punish Harper, the entire team quit. The owner released all of the players, and they instantly retired them all. Bort countered by permanently banning everybody from the Legend from GLB, but the damage was done...word filtered out that their did appear to be some favoritism towards the Alpha Tester teams. It was a mess and there was a lot of finger pointing and quite a few people left the game...and it was probably one of the main reasons the new "Sportsmanship" rules are getting coded in.

Anyway, the team instantly was filled with CPU players and put up for sale. One of my guys was next on the list and couldn't believe the "luck" of being able to buy a Pro team, and jumped at it, not knowing the history of what he just got himself into. Now, he's getting slaughtered as he has to face THE highest leveled players in this game with CPU's and whatever meager FA's he can find. It ain't purdy.



Man that's crazy. If the Beef think they've got it tough, imagine having to play the New England Patriots every game. And the ass kicking won't stop there...they'll get beat down in several leagues on the way down.

I have sent PM's to support stating that dropping us down one level will still not put us where we will be competitive. Unless I get people to stick it out and not bail, the team will continue to slide to the bottom. GLB is still new and people mostly want to just win. I think eventually people may get bored with just winning and will start to want to challenge themselves with "projects" or basketcase teams. I didnt get the choice when my lottery number came up and this was the team I got.

I feel for you. It's almost impossible to turn a losing squad around unless you have a bunch of friends or are willing to and have the cash to create your own players and wait for them to develop. There just aren't enough quality players for all the spots needed to be filled. I know lots of people want to play with their friends or want to be part of a group but I really think a draft would be cool.

Well let me formally invite any players who want to help the Beef turn things around to contact me. Everyone loves a rags to riches story...

Tornado / Gangstaz game probably decides who gets booted. My guess is Gangstaz lose.
