It used to be a lot worse. The ball bouncing around is relatively new to GLB. There was also a time when players did not fall on the ball but rather scooped it up and ran with it all in one motion. That usually resulted in a TD.

My STOP DE had 69 fumbles returned for TDs in one season. He also forced 110 fumbles in one season. Them were good times for me but probably not so good for the returners fumbling. lol
