Steelrain72 just put up a thread showing the SOS for the remaining games of the season. Thanks!! Here is the SOS so far for the Zeta Conference.



Zeta Conference Strength of Schedule.

The list shows the teams ranked in order by wins. Then I add their opponents win/loss (minus their record) and show the rank of their SOS.

The formula I used was to add up the 8 opposing team’s wins and losses. Then I subtracted the teams losses from the opposing teams win totals, and subtracted the wins from the opposing team’s loss totals.

So for example: My team the Raging Yetis, my record is 7-1. My opponent’s combined record is 35-29. I subtracted my losses from the opponents win total and my wins from the opponent’s loss total. Therefore my opponents record after withdrawing my games are 34-22.

EDIT: No matter how pretty and aligned I get this, it won't show up good in the forum.

Based on the way I calculated it, this is true SOS. It measures the strength of the teams play against and doesn’t factor how good or bad the team itself is, only its opponents.

Can't really claim that until day 40. But it's good to see that the remaining schedule is easier than the one we have played so far.

It is way to early to proclaim anyone the best. We won't know that until early morning on day 39...

4 of our next 5 games have teams with a min of 4-4, ill be very happy if we go 4-1 during that streach. i figure if we lose it will be the yetis, but we are the team that beat the demons, will we be the giantslayers of the league? lets see in 30

lol thats what i was afraid of. i was hoping no one would notice us till after we played.

Now I understand why we are 1-8...hardest SOS so far...lol

Our first two games are coming back to bite us hard. Guam hasn't had a very good season after all, and Taiwan skewed our defensive stats something awful.
