In this latest set of replays, the HB in the first replay is sweeping to the short side of the field. He gets to a spot where he needs to plant his foot and head up field. For a L18 dot, he makes a reasonable cut and gains good yardage. Nice play call.

Second replay is the same play, but this time we have the wide side of the field to play with. This allows you low-agility, high-speed dot the distance she needs to make a more sweeping turn.

doesn't stop. speed script shows pretty continuous speed throughout the curve.

hestitates/stops... speed script shows a dip to 1/2 or 2/3 of his speed for the "cut" which makes no sense... he's not cutting

I'd bet the farm it's a pathing bug where he's making some cut instead of just continuing on a curve

revisted these replays and sure enough.. a big dip in speed in the speed script to about 2/3 of his speed

for a "40" speed RB... dropping down to 26-27 speed for no reason pretty much allows these slow ass defenders to catch him... it's b.s.
