The new XP rules make a non-boosting Gold team pretty much useless since a non-boosted team will be 3 levels down the whole season. Thus I see no need to keep TIA past this season as I can't afford two boosted teams.
That leaves me with 3 options on what to do with TIA. I can just have all CPU players next season and let the team get demoted before I drop the team, but I don't like giving a conference a CPU team to pound on. Or I can just not renew the team and let it turn CPU, but then anyone can pick them up and I would prefer it the team stays in the hands of gold talent. The last option is to find a gold talent to take over the team. This is the only option that allows TIA to remain competitive next season and it the path I would prefer to take.
So...if anyone would like to own a Gold team rather than just being a gold coordinator/gm/agent, just send me a PM. I will cover the renewal fee for S24 and will bring the new owner on as a GM until I am ready to make the transfer later this season. I am also willing to stay on as a coach to help the new owner in any role they need(if needed) and could probably field a few boosted players also.
While this is the original TIA team that Biodome owned and had in Gold for a number of seasons, it's up to the new owner if they want to keep the TIA name or change it. I am unfamiliar with the ownership transfer process, so if someone could let me know how to do it, that would be great!
One last thing, after 10 seasons in the West, I plan on moving my Bears team to the East for a change of pace, which means TIA will end up in the West before any transfer happens.
If multiple people are interested, I will just pick the best candidate based in part on involvement with other Gold teams and overall ability to field a competitive Gold team.
