Would I be correct in thinking that, due to the accelerated player development thing happening next season, we will get a full refund for boosted players this season?

No actually, that refund only works for boosts before the announcement.

We're giving young players the opportunity to retire their players for either a full refund (if the player is between 0-80 days of age) or an increased refund of 80% (if the player is between 81-120 days of age). You can only do this in the season 23 to season 24 offseason. Rewards points are non-refundable.

I read that. I'm just surprised more peole haven't been talking about it - I guess its probably because the whole of Gold regularly boost anyhow?

I would presume you are correct in that any boosting or regular CEQ(not rental), all non-reward flex points will be refunded. This did this a few seasons ago as well.

I wish I knew that at the beginning of the season. I would not have gotten rental CE.

Because this season you get a 100% refund from permanent CE, and nothing from rentals (as always).
