Could be a feature, but I'll chance it being a bug. Look at any box score.

Would assume since it says yards per "pass" and the words pass and attempt could be interchanged, it is working as intended. Probably would be pass/completion(comp) if it was inteded to be that.

I believe the stat is exactly what it says

Both yards/attempt and yards/completion are listed on the team/individual stats, so I couldn't be sure which was meant to be "pass."

I'll buy that it's a feature. Maybe if I stop being lazy I'll make a suggestion for 0 cares.
