Hoping anyways. Figure boosting now isn't going to make ton of difference in our seeding, so why not.

So did they get a loan? Or a great home game Beer and Chips sales

Must have been concessions. They should make it through the season now I think. Not sure if days 41-48 count or not.

So what advantage do you get by running your team in the red? It seems like the thing to do now. Maybe I misunderstand how the morale bonus works.

doesn't the morale bonus go away once you go into the red?

don't think there's ever been a team actually taken away because of going into the red, either. they warn you, but nothing happens other than losing the morale bonus.

I'm just going off of what Catch22 said:

With player's not actually receiving the cash value of their contracts currently, there are some teams that think they can set all of their players to maximum contracts and let their teams go in the red (negative team cash). We want to make it clear that not only will your team morale reserve be set to 0 if your team cash is negative, but if your team cash is negative for more then 10 days in a row, your team will be removed from your control and set to CPU.

Thx for the clarification 89stepside. I did not know the 10 day rule. I am not certain how the heck we miss calculated this badly. We where aiming at having money until day 33. We have known about the miss calculation for a long time, but since we cannot resign players in PeeWee we have not been able to do anything about it.

It will be interesting to see if we are forced to relegate to silver or if anything happens at all.

Ha! It'll be a learning experience for all of us. I hope it works out for ya.

Well, if you calculate how much money you start with, add in your projected earnings, and then figure out how much you can pay your dots over the course of a season without running out of money, you can end up with bigger morale bonuses during the season.

I've gone about $800k over the salary cap for many seasons in a row now.

For a Non boosting team like mine the idea was to have an morale advantage in the regular season and the first playoff.
