I have two high powered yardage and TD WRs that are looking for a good passing team for Season 23... Present team is going to start over and they have essentially gone to the HB ONLY offense in rushing and passing...

My WRs signed with a promise of a great passing game, but the team has reverted to the "Urijah Faber" offense (the OC's dot) and essentially delegated both my WRs to an insignificant role as the team is in the give up mode...

Builds are open... and will tentatively commit to signing after Season 22... Don't miss out on these WRs...

When beginning playing on GLB - I created at least 4 WRs - unfortunately this game has evolved with HB being the main offensive force, with QBs and WRs essentially getting the back seat - check MVP ratings on almost all leagues, HBs are constantly in the top 10 in each conference/league... everything set in this game is geared to running backs as well as OCs keying a majority on HB passing and rushing... high stat collecting WRs are out there, but they are hard to find due to they have no control over the HB offensive mentality of a vast majority of Owners/OCs...

I built in the past great WRs... my above mentioned WRs:
Harvin started in season 6 and Speed started in season 7 both combined in season 20 and 21 for 11,730 yards and 208 TDs...

You would be hard pressed to find two WRs that combined for those totals in two consecutive years running into 'decline' as mentioned...

Maybe I am hanging on to them too long, but if WRs were given as much offensive consideration in this game as HBs get, things would be a bit different...

You're right, but they're not. If you can't find a suitor my suggestion would be simply to retire them and start an entirely new WR. There's nothing wrong with that but I do believe that at some point in the offseason, you'll be able to find someone in need of a WR or two.

Judging from their career stats, seasons 20 and 21 were the anomaly. You obviously hooked up with a team that liked to air it out quite a bit. Nothing wrong with that, just saying...

The first season of decline is very slight. Playing through early decline at a competitive level is a doable thing, as your WRs have shown, but your penalties are becoming pretty significant now for most teams' liking. Jack Riley is right somewhere along the way you run into a team that will have a void to fill and they'll scoop you up. It just may take a while until the right team comes along.

Thanks guys - I really believe I am not the only one in denial that my players are at the end of the road... 14 or so seasons is quite a lot... just had been hard believing some owners when signing that they will pass as much as they ended up and then scuttled the team... not looking to replace the running game, just to be there to complement it so teams won't key on the HBs all the time - opening the offense for both HB and WR, not just to be on the field when the HB does 99% of the offense... will see what happens for season 23...
