Groundhogs are Elite 3 and we took down an Elite 1 in round 1:

And we took down an Elite 2 in round 2:

To be honest, I don't think there is much different between the various Elite leagues. Not saying we are the best team in the world, but I think we can compete with anyone in any of the other leagues.

Cobden and Black Hand (the top 2 teams from National Semi Pro Competitive last season) really should be in the same league as the Elite #1 East teams (the top 16 teams from National Semi Pro Elite last season). For whatever reason, they put all of the teams from the National Semi Pro in the first Elite conference (Elite #1 East). The rest seems like a big clusterfuck.

You would think Regional Pro Elite #1 would consist entirely of the top teams from the previous season's Regional Pro Competitive (which are generally a lot older than the teams coming from National Semi Pro), and all the teams coming up from National Semi Pro would go in Elite #2 or Elite #3 or something. It works out more balanced than I would have expected, though.

Honestly, I don't see much difference between the three Elite leagues.

After three rounds, here are the league results
Total Teams from league in Tourney: NUmber Surviving; Winning %

Elite 1: 18; 10; 55%
Elite 2: 19; 5; 26%
Elite 3: 7; 3; 43%
Pro 4: 7; 2; 29%
Pro 5: 9; 1; 11%
Pro 6: 7; 2; 29%
Pro 7: 5; 2; 40%
Pro 8: 9; 3; 33%
Pro 9: 8; 1; 12.5%
Pro 10: 6; 1; 17%
Pro 11: 1; 0; 0%
Pro 12: 2; 1; 50%
Pro 13: 6; 1; 17%

Obviously, Elite 1 has done the best.
But Elite 3 has actually done significantly better than Elite 2.
And Competitive Pro 7 and Pro 8 deserve merit as both have much larger % winning than the other Pro Competitive leagues, so far.

I noticed how teams in elite #3 were all teams that were in regional pro last season and are a season older then most teams in #1 and #2.
