just an idea, to try and keep inactive dots somewhat useable.

sorta like auto train, let agents set automatic sp placement.

some sort of tab that lets you set parameters for sp's.

goto 68 strength then switch to agility type of thing.

Pros----
Inactive players would still follow the basic build plan.
Going on vacation...
Rage quitting but don't want to screw over your buddies in the process....
Easier building for agents with lots of dots.....

Cons----
you still have to find agents that would be willing to set these tactics.

the best solutions are the ones that sound completely obvious after you read them

Would having the ability of carrying a bench roster of 5 to 10 players eliminate the age issue.

yes, but it creates more problems with only addressing one issue, imo.

there are alot of ways to exploit this scenario.

Going off of Gruppo's idea....
What if they implemented something along the lines of Fantasy Sports leagues where in a case a player has become inactive, the owner has the ability to set any or all (training/tactics/SP's) for that player until (if/when) the agent becomes active, owner loses control and agent is the only one who can modify.

Programming wise it would be easy as they already have the inactive notification coming up and would just have to set up priveleges for the owner once a player becomes inactive.

As an agent, I would be more than happy if somebody cared enough to cover my guys growth when I was unable to make it on the Internet.

Pros:
» Players continuing to grow/perform when agent becomes inactive (whether by choice or circumstance)
» Owners not getting screwed over by agents who cannot log in (whether by choice or circumstance)
» Limited control of team owner so cannot abuse/exploit system, but still be able to have the player following the team build

Cons
» Inactive agents that come back may not like their players being tampered with or the changes that were made to their player.

NOTE: In general, when an agent becomes part of a pee-wee team, they are pretty much giving in to the system set up beforehand, so the con would really only be for those that plan to keep their player for more than 1 season. Just my two cents
