I've changed my mind this does seem buggy to me. I've seen too many plays in the thread where the movements of the SS make sense right up until the ball is caught. Then the SS heads inside for several ticks before correcting and moving towards the ball carrier.

Can't ask for much more, you and I both know that. And I do know how to fix it, and since we're playing esl on thursday, I'll have to because bhall is all up in my thread

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Originally posted by Pwned IRL I don't agree with this statement due to the fact that the SS was not covering the WR on this play. The SS moves inside for little to no reason allowing the WR a cutback to the outside which led to a big play. The SS is supposed to play his zone but after he moved back into his zone at the start of the play, he then moved inside..
The inside movement is what I don't understand.
Originally posted by Rikkhen That i can't tell you. The 2nd and 3rd replay look to me like the one you and i were DISCUSSING.........lol They move after the ball is caught but others he moves before. I am gonna mark this as needs more info and see if we can't got some more bug mods perspective on this issue.
Originally posted by kuaggie A few things:
-The SS follows the WR in movement step for step until the ball is thrown (working as Bort coded it, whether or not there is something wrong with that sadly belongs in the suggestions forum)
-The path to the ball carrier makes no sense at all, especially for a SS at the WL level- goes in a curve away from the carrier rather than a straight line. I believe this is buggy logic (although it may be impacted by spins- you see the weird movement happen simulataneously in the first replay- it's possible that the WR jukes in the other two....but can't tell since it doesn't show in the PBP. Nonetheless I feel that in deep zone, it makes much more sense for SS to be outside contain, and the SS shouldn't run to the inside so often.
Worthy of a bug although I could see why other moderators would disagree

I think this looks buggy. I've looked at everything twice and I just don't see why the SS is cutting inside.
He's set to play a zone, so why is he reacting to a player who isn't in his zone, before or even AS the player is catching the pass? That would leave the sideline open all night long..
