Takes a Ton of work.....Main reason I burnt out and didn't honor promotion back to Gold. I just had a sense of pride to prove we belong there was good enough.

The answer is no.

No offense to D~Town since he has competed at Gold on numerous occasions but getting to Gold isn't that hard anymore. Teams do it every season without boosting or buying equipment. If you've got a solid D and boost you can pretty much guarantee yourself a legit shot at getting promoted to Gold.

It used to be really hard to get to gold in most of the silver leagues. Now that you can buy a specific team (IE: pick an easy silver league), you can sleepwalk your way into Gold.

...but being competitive in gold does require a ton of work if you are doing it on your own

Yeah approx 10 seasons ago, it was a damn dog fight to get to Gold. Now it is very obtainable. Condensing the silver and copper leagues I think would resolve this issue to an extent.

Dont forget we had to play the almighty Stoner, in Gerss league and Gwar Championship Game. Actually 2 of 3 were boosted like us or more so.

Errr I see my post quoted above in your description, which lead me to believe that we were chopped liver. I coached the whole team, asked for tactics set, game planned, worked both AI's all by myself along with building 20+ players and keeping 15-20 agents active and cumbersome to our teams agenda. Yeah it kinda rubs be the wrong way when I see folks that SHOULD know it takes a ton of time, dedication and effort to accomplish some of the minor things we did.

You know I cut for ya PING. You also know 10+ seasons ago I was in defense of the BS also. If you look @ the season we won our Silver league. I think we played MANY Games and beat some quality opponents. We are better than 1/2 of the teams in Gold to this date imo.
