LSM & I are coaching a Rookie league team. BORT claims PW is the same sim, but watching the games I really don't think they are. The players just move so much better in the Rookie League. I actually think it's a better sim than what PW has.

Anybody else coaching both? Am I crazy?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought most Rookie Leagues are levels 8-14? So I would expect them to be better due to starting at a higher level.

You're wrong. I'm assuming you looked at a Rookie league page. That states where they are currently at.

The new Rookie Leagues in the age-based tier system now in place begin at 0 days old. So it's basically the same thing as PeeWee, except there is no level limit like in PeeWee (so in PW you have to be 0 days old and level 1, in Rookie just 0 days old). So you get some guys that will boost prior to the flip, but those are all long-term builds that won't be real competitive.

So what's the purpose of Pee-Wee if the new Rookie league basically does the same thing?

And can you request a demotion at the end of the season if you don't want to take your team to the next level?

Pee Wee used to be that way (Re Ping72's comment). But didn't they put in the level limit to stop people from boosting before the flip. And then again the next season creating an even bigger gap between the boosters and non-boosters.

Plus I am guessing these teams "move up". So even if you request to get demoted there will still be a lot of new teams in any given league. And there is no league structure to get the best teams into one competitive league like Pee Wee Gold.

So this way when people stop Boosting and spending money in Pee Wee they can shut it down and not skip a beat.
