The overall sentiment to the ever changing sim seems to be negative.
Is it really all that bad for Pee Wee? Yes teams go in with "plans" in the offseason for next seasons peewee team. And sometimes those plans get nerfed into oblivion. See the Pimps last season as we designed the team around a passing sim that got borted all over the place (we only carried 1 FB and way too many WR's for a running sim ) But in all reality it pretty much only cost us one season.
It is not like building up a pro teams whose design gets nerfed after 5 or 6 seasons then comes back to life 5 or 6 seasons later. Nothing worse than building a dot for years spending hundreds of dollars only to seem them get dropped into irrelevance when they reach their peak much less a whole team. At least in Pee Wee there is always next season to adjust.
If the sim were stable wouldn't the game get stale for those people that have "mastered" it. And wouldn't it create a system were the teams that perfected it would pretty much win everything season after season. At least in theory it would seem that a changing sim opens up the competition in that any team has a shot at winning and/or losing regardless of past performance. Ex BNI wins Gold one season and doesn't make the playoffs the next (I am not familiar with their situation as it could be more to do with other things than really sim related just using that as an example).
Yes we have teams that are very successful year in and year out. I suspect it is because they have systems that are in place that are very adaptable to sim changes. And are very good at adapting to those changes.
Also it would seem that a changing sim would keep the game "fresh" each season as there is always something new to figure out. Is that a good thing for Pee Wee since we are not so much tied to the long term success of players
I generally swing back and forth on this. Probably depends on how bad my plans got nerfed in a particular season.
