I take this back in theory, they made another change to this today to improve the overrunning of the HB/FB by safeties. If this is all true, it looks like offense will be impossible.

Some plays its great for the offense and some plays it's great for the defense, so I think it goes both ways.

Wonder what this will do. I wonder if it's a modification, or if this means he scrapped the whole thing.

That's what BORT (for whatever reason doesn't quite grasp). He makes changes at the top and it kills the bottom. He makes this change (one of the few) to help the bottom and it affected the top.

Yes and No to this. On the Final Thought Team, I noticed that the FS who covers the Weak Flat was running right past the sweeping HB, which never happened in the past. I'm hopeful that this negative reaction by the FS is what he's getting at with this fix. We'll see
