West:

I think the west is very interesting, much more so than the east. I could see any of 6 teams at this point contending for a title in order: Crib, Chicago, UT, BNI, Philosophers and PNP. The reason the Philosophers are not as high on that list is because they will likely not win it all without CEQ and boosting. As for all the other teams, BNI is my surprise pick since they have been so good lately, but Crib still has to be the favorite overall right now.

East:

Basically, right now it is just Maine with no other teams looking close to them. The Gamecocks have been only 5-4 overall with one win over a CPU team since their loss to the UT Pimps, but if somehow everything comes together, they could beat Maine in one game. Maine destroyed the challenger after the Gamecocks in SAS Stranglers and will not likely need to worry about no boost/CEQ Flumps. The next 3 teams are more likely to upset Maine in any given game, SBWL, Kill Devil and Shy Town. Shy Town lost to Maine early in the season, but they have improved a lot lately and Kill Devil is on a hot streak. As for SBWL, they can always put together a good game. Maine's games against the Gamecocks, Kill Devil and SBWL, likely their only obstacles to a perfect season will be very telling. If they run the table and win the conference by 3 games, they will be a heavy favorite in the east, but if they slip up, there could be some doubt especially if they lose to FG who haunted them in the playoffs in seasons 17 and 18.

I would agree with most of what you said about the west. With Chicago not fully boosting (at least they normally don't), BNI boosted early may hurt them in the playoffs, and Philosophers no/no their chances of going deep into the playoffs is reduced not impossible but reduced. That opens the door for a lot of teams to have a shot. Crib certainly looks to be ahead of all the rest.

UT is just worried about making the playoffs at this point. We have a tough 3 game stretch ahead with two already boosted teams and Crib. If we find a way to lose all those we will be fighting to get in down the stretch.

I could see a 6-8 seed getting favorable match ups and getting all the way to the championship this season.

I don't know much about the East but Maine looks to be ahead of everyone in the East or West.

I agree with bevo its kind of a merry go round in the west...

Crib lost to PNP who lost to UT and philosophers who lost to etc etc

It will be close again in the west and I wouldn't be surprised if another 8 seed started rolling like last season...

Crib has a very very tough end of the season schedule
Philosophers have a tough schedule too
Bears have a very tough schedule and are not playing well at all right now
UT has a mediocre schedule with tough and weak teams
PNP has a very easy schedule until week 16 vs the bears
Rome has a nightmare schedule
BNI has a hard but not that hard of a schedule
PNM Has a few toughies and a few walkovers
DIRTY has a few tough ones but are now boosted

Thats the only teams that can make the playoffs tbh...

You will make the playoffs by beating Basic Ai and SAS making you 9-6-1 even if you lose everything else, which should be enough for the playoffs. You might beat BGW anyway since they are not great defensively even with the boosts and the same is true for LB. As for BNI, the difference between 12 and 13 is minimal and if they get hot, they could roll through anyway.

Don't like Rome's chances from here. Seem to have hit a wall as far as scoring.

You are in a better spot than you think due to the fact that I was unable to scout for our game, so am just hitting you with a stock offense & defense. I thought my game against BNI earlier today was just a junk scrimmage, but then noticed early this morning that it was for a tourney, so tired in vain to game plan and get everyone on the team to boost since BNI was boosted, all while at work with the big boss is here, which limits my time on the Internet at work. Needless to say, that didn't work and used up all my available time on that game instead of the one against you. Ya my partial boost gives me an advantage, but Gold has proven that a good game plan based on good scouting can overcome boosting. I really hate when he is here...
