They need to fire their DC!

Seriously, in the annuals of football real and imagined I've never seen a WRs allowed to just run their routes freely.

This one has 1 DB covering 3 WR. The SS is blitzing while a CB plays in the SS position, whist the FS is left solely to make a play.

they don't have a DC

It looks like they were trying to deal with a rushing QB, and possibly didn't know the difference between cover and cover without move when positioning defensive dots. It's also likely they didn't do quality control after moving dots around. Default usually goes to WR1 when you move a LB and lose blitz privileges in the new DPC.

These are the types of mistakes I'd expect from someone new to the game who is trying to figure out how things work.

Any chance I might see these defensive formations in the Super Bowl tomorrow?
