I've got 2 low level (17 right now) STOP blockers- stats around 90 speed, 50 blocking, 35 agility, 25 strength. Playing PRSE, they get reversed pancaked every play, before the punt occurs (it appears to be the moment they engage the block, I did find one play out of about 50 in which one of them appears to have missed his block and he isn't knocked down). I understand their str and agility aren't great, but it's every play they engage a block, every when their opponents are 10 levels lower than them. This seems like it has to be a bug.

Please add several links to plays that you think are good examples of the behavior you're talking about.

Any single play doesn't show much, it's the pattern which concerns me.

Looking at the game's stats I see that neither PRSE was revpnkd, nor did either get any pancakes. Yet they both clearly fall down (or whatever getting small and not doing anything for a while means) every single play. In many cases their opponent also falls down at the beginning of the play, and when they get back up the PRSE holds the block for the rest of the play.


Against a team which is currently level 6 and 7 (vs the PRSE who are currently 17) 18 out of 18 times both PRSE are taken out of the play for several seconds.

Those aren't revcakes. They're cut blocks, which is why they knock down the gunner from time to time. I'm not sure why they're choosing to cut block every time. Usually that happens when a blocker believes they are outmatched against the dot they're trying to block (especially in agility in my experience) but that is most likely not the case in this situation.

This is not likely a bug. I'll move it back out into bugs main so the other mods can weigh in.

Thanks for taking a look. However, your assessment confuses me. It's not "from time to time", it's every single time they engage a block before the PR has the ball. I looked over several other games the Gamblers have played, and several other games from the conference, and it's not just those 2 players who are having the problem. Every PRSE who engages a block before the PR has the ball makes a cut block. Thinking it might be a vision issue, I checked some games from my higher level dots, and in every case if the PRSE engages the PSE in a block before the PR has the ball, they end up on the ground. This is either a pretty significant bug or an intentional (and I have to say pretty ridiculous) coding decision.

I won't link every play, but there are no punts in which the PRSE engages and holds the PSE.

i agree with the OP. this consistency makes me feel this is coded intentional. hope you guys take a look at this.

not a bug imo- you just need a very specific build to have a good SE blocker which is why you see it so much

Cut Block SA = Fall Down A Lot SA IMO

I picked this game because there were a lot of punts. As you can see, there doesn't seem to be a pattern.
