the CB is set to blitz. for some reason he just stops right in middle of the play and then starts again (without being touched by another player or having a guy in his path).

Maybe a failed vision check? He didn't stop for very long. We'll need to see this behavior happen more then once and preferably on different teams to call it anything. We are currently working on one where something similar happens to CB's in coverage, but not while blitzing. They may or may not be related. NEEDS MORE INFO.

i have seen it plenty of times, but scrimmages are private so out of luck i suppose

what is his aggressiveness setting at...on the first one it almost looks like he is pausing to check the hb for a screen pass...

I was thinking the same thing. Looks like an aggressive setting. CB pauses to check the screen.
