What I don't like is that LB's still have to be set to zone instead of blitz even after their coverage assignments in order to be placed where you want.

Exactly! If you could set them to blitz after a read or 2, it would be manageable. Zone is almost useless in PW. Besides, wouldn't the time it takes to make a read or 2 eliminate the issues with overload blitzes?
