It comes down to this last game of S19. I think I went 13-1 in the playoffs so far, with my only loss coming from having too much faith in my own team, and too little faith in the blablablas. Of course, the loss also could be due to our “not-so-special teams” having our thumbs up our keesters. It also could be blamed on our OC not giving the ball to El Toro on every single play. Nevertheless, we have 2 undefeated teams matching up in the league championship, so they deserve to be there. They kicked everybody’s teeth in this season, dominated the field in the regular season, and even more so in the postseason. They kicked the snot out of their opponents, their opponent’s girlfriends, their cats, their pet geckos, and maybe even the neighbor’s parakeet.
The Dark Phoenix gave up only 60 pts on D in the regular season, in the more difficult conference. They are lvl 25/30, which one can only assume means they have good builds, maybe slow builds for a season? I don’t know. The TB Scorpions gave up only 38 pts in the regular season, but in a weaker conference. They are lvl 27/29. So, who am I going to pick to win the penultimate game of the season? So, I was at Fred Meyer’s earlier tonight; for those of you who are not familiar with this store, it is kind of a one-stop-shop kind of place. They have groceries, clothes, jewelry, electronics, etc. I was simply buying food and beer of course. Anywho, I went to a check out line, and there were 2 people ahead of me, but neither had much stuff so I was thinking I would get through no problem. Boy was I wrong. The little short "nice lady" at the front had only 10 items, and as I was putting all of my stuff on the conveyor belt, I hear her arguing with the cashier. She was like, “No, $2.99.” The cashier was like, “I am sorry, it is $7.99”. The "nice lady" made the cashier call to the department of origin to double check. It gets worse, the "nice lady" did this for all 10 of her items. All "intercoursing" ten items were challenged. I thought I was going to strangle the little 5’0” oompa-loompa "nice lady". I have never seen a person question every single price that gets rung up. There needs to be a rule like in the NFL where you get only 2 challenges. That was retarded. It took this tard-ette over ten minutes to price check every single item, and pay $20 for the 8 out of 10 she kept. She won exactly zero of her challenges, and "nice ladied" and moaned the whole time about the sign said so… Does this kind of thing happen to everyone? Or just me? Or am I the only one who notices this type of stupidity in the world around me, and the rest of yall go through life whistling a merry Christmas jingle? Either way, the Dark Phoenix get my vote; conference allegiance and best wishes.
Hope yall enjoyed my posts to some degree. I aim to simply provide a modicum of entertainment during a long and sometimes boring GLB season. Elite leagues are definitely more intense, competitive, and entertaining, maybe next season some of us will meet again.
J out.
PS – Note to Los Alamos. In case yall have not gotten the hint, CHANGE YOUR NAME!!! Thanx. Maybe if my players had cool jerseys made for them like most of the rest of the team, I would not be saying this. In lieu of me getting my long-promised, but never delivered jerseys, I will offer my final candidate for a new team name. How about, in honor of this link? http://demotivate.me/mediafiles/500/420201090629AM_milfs-saggy-demotivational-poster.jpg The Los Alamos MILF Hunters?
