Even though I picked against my own team, I was right. I went 4-0 in my game #9 picks, so I am now 29-7 on the season. That guy was freaking amazing; he was more than a coach, he was an impeccable human being, a teacher, a role model, and someone I had the pleasure of being around during my time at UCLA. He had a presence about him, an aura, that was unlike anything I have ever been around in my life. Too bad we lost to USC, cuz then that clip would have been even cooler. My lab tech told me a story about her older sister – a blonde. She rolled up home one day, with two flat tires. Game #2. Dark Phoenix (9-0, 23/28) vs Arizona Wildcards (6-3, 26/26). Okay, this game is not going to be close, but there really aren’t any other good games in this division this week. Game #3. Ohio St Diamondcutters (5-4, 26/26) vs Soo Sabercatz (5-4, 24/24). This may actually be a close game, unlike recent Ohio St vs Mich football games. Game #4. Hey, hey, hey, it is the Game of the Day! In the red corner, we have the Fat Jaws Badness, weighing in at 7-2, 26/28. And in the blue corner, we have the Canada Defenders weighing in at 7-2, 27/28. Let’s get it on!! Here is the tale of the tape. The Badness have 2 QBs. One is a pure passer, and the other is a rushing QB. The rushing QB rarely throws the ball, but then again, he rarely runs it either. He is pretty good when he does run it though… The Badness have a true Power HB, and a predictable speed HB, both are very solid. The Badness have a scatback FB that is the most badassiness FB I have ever seen. He is 3rd on the offensive MVP list for his division – I have never seen that from a FB before. He has 13 rushing TDs, 9 receiving TDs, and 99 receptions this season. Yes, 99 catches. Sick. Oh, and the Badness have the 3rd rated ST returner in the conference. They rush inside 60% of the time, and outside 40% of the time; and they pass the ball 50% of the time, and run the ball about 50% (OBVIOUSLY). The Canadians have the 2nd rated ST returner in their conference (so there Badness!). They have 2 QBs, neither one runs. Their combo back breaks some tackles on occasion, their others do not. They pass 62% and therefore run 38% of the time (against good teams). When they do run the ball, they rush inside 55% of the time. And the winner is, from the blue corner, I will take the Defenders to defeat the Badness.
My latest suggestion for the Engineers, change the team name to:
